Murder was the #1 cause of death for black males from ages 18-24 when I was 18 years old in 1989. In 2019 it is still the #1 cause of death for black males from ages 18-24. It cannot be the #1 cause of death 30 years from now!! Our community cannot continue to lose our inner-city youth at this rate for another 30 years! The Just Like Me 10-week program helps equip at-risk teens with the critical thinking skills that help them make better decisions, which leads to a better and more productive life.
