John Amplas is one of the unsung heroes of horror, particularly for fans of the films of George Romero. First appearing as the title character of the vampire film MARTIN in 1977, John went on to appear in every George Romero film for the next decade, working alongside people like Ed Harris, Stephen King and Tom Savini in films like CREEPSHOW, DAWN OF THE DEAD, KNIGHTRIDERS and DAY OF THE DEAD.
