There are a ton of cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine, which is a plus if you watched enough of the Marvel superhero films from the Fox era at the time. Though not everyone made the cut, there are still enough of them, and I appreciate that Levy doesn't just highlight them for show. To put it another way, these cameos have their moments and there will also be surprises. Levy is equally deserving of recognition for his wide range of needle drops, which include The Platters' "Only You," NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye," and a perfect rendition of Huey Lewis & The News' "The Power of Love" in honor of Back to the Future. I enjoy how Levy cuts to Madonna's powerful hymn "Like a Prayer" at a pivotal point in the film.
