Today's Promise: Matthew 1:23
At the heart of Christianity is the virgin birth. Here are four reasons why the virgin birth is important.
1. It shows the uniqueness of Jesus. Jesus had an early mother, but His father was God.
2. It showed His sinless perfection. He didn't carry the sinful nature of Adam.
3. It broke the chain of sin. Just as sin came into the world through Adam, Jesus brought righteousness.
4. Jesus is the perfect example of God. If you want to know what God is like, just look at Jesus.
