Today's Promise: Isaiah 44:3
Have you ever been really thirsty? Have you ever been so thirsty you would give anything for a cool drink of water?
There is another thirst that goes beyond hot summer days: the thirst of the soul. When you are spiritually thirsty, your heart and spirit have dried up, and there is no water.
God promises to pour out the refreshing water of the Holy Spirit on those who are thirsty. He will come and pour the Holy Spirit on us. We don't have to live in spiritual dryness.
