Sometimes, life's choices are difficult. Choices are not always black and white. Sometimes you have to choose between good and good. Often, the right choice is not always clear. Making the right choices is the pathway to success. To make the right choices that lead to success, you need wisdom and direction from God.
God promises to instruct and give you wisdom when you fear Him. The person who fears the Lord will find direction and instruction in the choices of life. Those may be big decisions or small ones. In either case, God promises to lead you when you fear Him.
What does it mean to fear the Lord? If God is a God of love, why should we fear Him?
To fear the Lord is to recognize Him for who He is and to show Him the reverence He is due. To fear the Lord is not to cower before Him, but to understand that He is the Lord God who holds eternity in His hands. It is to recognize His authority in your life and to live accordingly in obedience to Him.
