Here's today's promise.
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. – Psalm 103:8
How do you see God? Do you see Him as an angry judge or a loving father? Your view of God affects your faith and how you live the Christian life. Many times your view of God has more to do with how you were raised then what the Bible says about God. This promise gives us four qualities of God. We are going to focus on that last phrase; His abounding lovingkindness.
Lovingkindness is the picture of a grandfather who when seeing his grandchild, he bends down to their level. He turns His ear is so He can hear every word they say.
