There is something special that separates you from the rest of the animal kingdom. Sure you share much of the same DNA, but this one distinction makes you unique. You were fashioned by the hand of God.
The world would have you believe you are merely an accidental combination of genetic material; that your life is nothing more than happenchance. God's word tells an entirely different story.
You are the result of a loving God, carefully crafting you for His purposes. "Fashioned" is the picture of a sculpture carefully molding a lump of clay until it is just the perfect size and shape for his purposes.
God didn't just make you and say, "Good enough." God careful crafted you until you were just perfect for the work and purpose He has for you.
Today you can celebrate who you are and what you look like because God created and fashioned you. You are his handiwork.
