Today's Promise: 2 Corinthians 5:18
God uses the word "reconcile" in this promise. It is not a word we use very often. It means to bring together or to change thoroughly.
It's the picture of two enemies becoming friends.
God has reconciled us to Him. Through Jesus Christ, although we were once enemies, we are now friends of God.
Since you are a new creature and have the righteousness of Christ in you, God calls you to a ministry of reconciliation. You are to help your friends become reconciled to God.
