For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. - Romans 6:14
The good news of the Gospel is that sin no longer is in control of your life. Jesus' blood has paid the penalty for sin and has broken the power of sin.
Before you came to Christ, sin was your master. You were in bondage to temptation and a slave to the call of sin.
When you came to Christ, everything changed. Sin is no longer your master. God's grace has set you free from the law of sin and death.
