Former Western Michigan blue line standout Jordan Oesterle recently completed his second season in the pro ranks and re-signed with the Edmonton Oilers this summer. He discussed his extended stay in the NHL to close this past season and how his new contract came about on Episode 7 of the NCHC's Where Are They Now. Oesterle also talks about his hockey roots in Detroit, playing with other NHL defensemen at WMU and how that helped him, his decision to turn pro as a free agent after his junior season and what he needs to do to make the Oilers out of training camp, among other topics.
