Former Minnesota Duluth captain Andy Welinski (2012-16) recently completed his first professional season with the San Diego Gulls in the AHL. He talks about the transition to professional hockey, what it's like playing hockey in San Diego and what he needs to do to make the Anaheim Ducks roster next season on the fourth episode of season two of the NCHC's "Where Are They Now." Welinski also discusses what it was like playing with several former NCHC players in San Diego and the friendly banter they have, growing up in Duluth and always wanting to be a Bulldog, and his connection with the 2016-17 national runner-up UMD team, among other topics.
