Debbie Flintoff-King shared her story with us today, including that special race in 1988 when she broke the Australian record and won Olympic Gold for the 400 hurdles. This is an Australian record that still stands today, 29 years on.
Debbie also spoke of her love for the sport, the terrible grief of losing her sister just 2 weeks before her Olympic race, her amazing connection with her husband/coach back then, and her passion for her family and overall health in our community.

Although Debbie would say that she is quite shy, you could just feel the strength and determination deep with in her core, something that comes from being an all-time champion.
Amazing!!! Nan X
