After his baptism, Jesus is led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to be tested. He does not eat for forty days and at the end he is hungry and tired. Then, the Devil meets him, all alone, tired, hungry, and far from home. The Devil does not have good intentions. Three times he tries to get Jesus to fall into sin. But three times Jesus resists and thus defeats the Devil. This sermon was preached by Pastor Tim
