Today Wiley and I talk about THE END on Phantom of the Opera (on broadway and perhaps in our hearts)… Isn't it really just a show about a show that a guy writes so he can be the lead in a show and kiss the girl he likes? Kinda. Yeah, I would say so. High Drama over here. In 30 years though Wiley is going to direct a Brechtian Phantom and that sounds like HONESTLY a rip roaring time at the theatre to me.

Wiley Basho Gorn (he/him/his) is a director, dramaturg, text coach, and teaching artist. His work focuses on developing a personal connection to heightened language both on and off the stage. Directing credits include: house of sueños: an audio drama (Seattle Shakespeare Company's Rough Magic podcast), Twelfth Night, or What You Will (Fern Shakespeare Company, Seattle WA) house of sueños and It Will Be Now (18th&Union, Seattle WA), As You Like It (ACT Theatre, Seattle WA) and The Tempest (Taksu Theatre Co. Brooklyn NY). Dramaturgical credits include: Bring Down The House Pt 1&2, As You Like It, Macbeth, All's Well That Ends Well (Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland OR), Richard III (Seattle Shakespeare Company and upstart crow collective, Seattle, WA).
