In this episode Nicnac talks about their concerns with The FAA and the way its structure has it constantly compromising safety to meet the powerful economic demands of airframers, airlines and US politicians. Nicnac makes the point that this structure isn’t safe or sustainable and results in continuous loss of life the world over. Nicnac also calls attention to their local airport KCIC where the city that owns the airport has elected to use airport property to provide temporary “shelter” to unhoused citizens. Nicnac hopes that no matter how you feel about housing, you’ll recognize that this isn’t an appropriate use of an airport!
