Dr. Sara Lewis is Associate Professor of Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology at Naropa University. As a psychological anthropologist, Sara's research focuses on trauma and resilience in the Tibetan diaspora. Her book, Spacious Minds: Trauma and Resilience in Tibetan Buddhism, published by Cornell University Press, considers how Buddhist concepts of time, emotion, and agency create pathways to resilience among those coping with trauma.
