Riffing Visa's newly announced Universal Payment Channel project and my thoughts on crypto in general. I always like following what the established companies are doing in the crypto space. Their project purports to allow compatibility between multiple cryptocurrency blockchains and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Imagine paying someone from your Bitcoin wallet and having it auto convert to the cryptocurrency or currency of the payee's choice. Without you or the payee even knowing it. That's the goal.
