Guests: Dr. Sue Brackenhoff, Bob Buck, Dr. Robyn Floyd, Audrey Staton-Thompson, and Dr. Julie Willoughby

This episode of Leaders AdvantEDGE, Keeping Kids Central: Behind the Scenes at Central Office, brought to you by Equitable, features a conversation between Dr. Julie Davis and five central office administrators who are active members of OAESA. Our guests share how they, in their unique roles as district administrators, work every day to keep the students at the center of everything they do. They share strategies for encouraging a ‘whole child’ approach as they work to support the adults working in the buildings with children every day.

Additionally, Dr. Julie Davis announces a new award developed to honor Central Office administrators working on behalf of our PreK-8 students who add a tremendous benefit to our school communities. OAESA is going to annually recognize one of these highly impactful individuals in our state by identifying an Outstanding Central Office Administrator (OCOA). OAESA will honor the OCOA winner at the OAESA Awards Luncheon scheduled to take place on June 17, 2022, as part of the annual OAESA Professional Conference. Look for the award timeline and requirements in upcoming communications from OAESA.
