Box office: ‘Smile 2’ gets a $23 million debut
Smile 2 won the US box office race with an estimated $23 million.
That puts the film's debut ahead of the first Smile, which opened with $22.6 million in 2022.
In the rest of the world, the sequel also grossed $23 million.
Smile 2 earned a B rating on CinemaScore from audiences.
