In this video, I discuss how to prove that you control the private keys to a particular Bitcoin address by signing a message with those private keys. To verify control, an external party only needs your Bitcoin address, the message, and the signature.
I demonstrate how to do this using the Sparrow Wallet and an external verification tool.
The next time someone claims to be Satoshi, ask them to sign a message with their private keys.
Spoiler alert: they will refuse or be unable to do so.
