We rebelled
Against Him,
The Fall brought about sin.
Brokenness
Heartbreak
He never meant for man
He warned Adam
Who transgressed
God’s law in the Garden
“For the wages of sin is death”

We don’t deserve it
But God came to set us free
Our lives are

It could have been goodbye that day

If this was court we all broke the law
But the fine was paid
John 3:16

He came down,
Lived a perfect life
For our sins on the cross He died
Rose again and defeated death
To give us the chance to follow Him.
