This week we talk about why it's important to set aside time to play with our kids. They need to know that we actually enjoy them and spending time with them. Block out one-on-one time for doing what your kids want to do with you.

- It's important to show our kids that they are a priority in our lives and that we aren't just tolerating them being around.
- Setting aside specific time to do what they want to do and play with them, shows them that you enjoy them and want to spend time with them and build relationships with them.
- God calls us to ENJOY our family and kids, not just TOLERATE them and see them as an obstacle to your work or busyness.
- We are built by God to be in relationship and the initial formative years with your kids are most important... but if you haven't done this well, it's better to start now than never.
