Description

Creating content consistently has been a game changer for me in my business as well as my clients. If growing your business is on your to-do list it is time to get consistent. Last week I talked all about how to take one piece of macro content and repurpose it everywhere on my YouTube series. This is an extension of that video because once you start implementing in your business, it becomes really easy to get consistent.

Ninja Tip 1 - Batch Create Content When you start to get into this process of making social media simple and using macro content and turning it into micro content batching content becomes so simple and part of the process. For example, when I am doing my research on what topics I'm going to cover on my YouTube channel, I will use a service like Tube Buddy, Keyword Planner or Google keyword.

Ninja Tip 2 - Internal Business Days When it comes to creating content consistently I always recommend an internal day where you create the time to work ON your business. What do I mean? You know the things that actually helps you move the business forward, the big vision things that are essential to growing the business that you can never seem to find the time for? Yes, that’s what you work on during an internal day. For example, a new lead magnet or a new nurture sequence or in my case my book. I block time every single week to make those things happen. This affords me the time to work towards my big vision that I have for 2020 in my business

Ninja Tip 3 - Time Blocking to Create Content Consistently I time block checking my email, Instagram stories checking facebook. I am very disciplined when it comes to my time because there is a huge demand for it. As your business grows and you begin creating content consistently your time will become more in demand. Time blocking makes a huge difference for me carving the schedule out. Time blocking also keeps me on track. When I know I only have 30 minutes to write an email for my list, I get it done. Like I said, work expands to time allowed, schedule it all.

Ninja Tip 4 - Create Systems for Creating Content Consistently Systems have been a game changer in my business and I have always started with simple systems first. When you start creating content consistently and leveraging a system like our social media made simple system it can be really easy to be like to try and implement it on a million different platforms. The problem with that is that it actually sets clients up for failure because you have never worked with a system at all and then you're trying to implement like 15 different things all at one time.

Ninja Tip 5 - Delegate and Get Support When Creating Content Consistently Get support. When you start to show up consistently online it is often a great time to get support either a social media intern or virtual assistant. The first actions I delegated in my business was the creation of graphics, scheduling social media, sending transcriptions to TEMI and pulling micro content from my transcriptions. These tasks are very repetitive and easy to teach especially with graphic templates and software programs like Canva. Delegating these tasks gave me more time to focus on the macro content creation.
