Eskom yesterday warned of more load shedding as it scrambles to find money to pay for those expensive diesel generators. On Monday, the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) refused Eskom’s last-minute request for an immediate hefty electricity price increase, and the utility is still waiting for the first chunk of the government’s promised bailout.
