The world is changing and Africa too is changing. As a consequence, a new reality has emerged in this changing landscape. Among the changes affecting the world is a new phase of globalization. It is characterized by accelerated economic integration and driven by the phenomenal growth of information and communication technology. In this changing global context, Africa has been experiencing significant changes that impact on its future prospects. The continent has made remarkable progress in advancing economic and social development in recent years. There has been a great improvement in governance on the continent, trending towards an increased prevalence of peace and constitutional governance under the auspices of the AUC. In this edition of “Tam Tam Express” we talk to the Chairperson of the AUC, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, about the financing of Africa’s Economic Blue Print, Agenda 2063, the funding of the AUC budget and the necessary human capacity to drive Agenda 2063.
