This week young people will have the opportunity to experience certain aspects of the parliamentary process and learn more about democracy. At least 80 to 90 youngsters from commonwealth countries are being hosted at the sixth Commonwealth Youth Parliament in South Africa. The youth between the ages 18 to 29 will participate in discussions, mock parliament sessions and tours around the province of the North West. The activities will take place at the Legislature Chamber under the theme; “Deepening the Commonwealth’s Commitment to Democracy and Youth Development”.
