• This week the African Union Heads of States Summit is underway in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and delegates from across the continent meet under theme of 2015 being the “Year of Women’s Empowerment and Development towards Africa’s Agenda 2063”. The selection of the theme is contributing that the AU chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is committed to gender issues but there is also a bigger picture of her projections into the future of Africa’s agenda. This will be done through Agenda 2063, a roadmap outlining its priorities for the next fifty years. Benjamin Moshatama spoke to Minister for Foreign Affairs in the Seychelles, Jean Paul Adam and Joy Phumaphi who is the African Leaders Malaria Alliance Executive Secretary.
