Description

Amnesty International has release its annual report on the state of the death penalty around the world. The report gives general information about trends, and the number of recorded executions and death sentences globally. Although the reports says most countries in sub-Saharan Africa are making efforts to abolish capital punishment, it has decried the rising number of death penalty sentences in Nigeria.
