The Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) hosts its 17th conference from the 24th September to the 05th October. During the conference the delegates will collectively evaluate progress made since 2013 at the last conference. They will further take more decisions that will be aimed at ending the illicit wildlife trafficking. The conference will also deliberate on matters around bring additional species under the CITES trade controls.
