The fight against the spread of the deadly Ebola virus in West Africa requires the efforts of all citizens across the world. Of the 6 countries that are battling to contain this disease, Liberia is the worst hit, with nearly 3 thousand deaths recorded. This state of affairs has spurred Marvin Tarawally, a Liberian citizen who graduated from the African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg, South Africa, to launch a fund raising campaign to raise funds to support a local organization in Liberia. Through the organizations which he co-founded in his country, the Student Reform Initiative, Marvin hopes to support at least 5 thousand families in protecting themselves from contracting the disease.
