This week the ratings agency, Fitch, projected that while China grows by 2.7 per cent this year the global gross domestic product is set to contract by 4.4 per cent. Fitch says that thus contraction will be “twice as deep as the great recession in 2009” while China is the only country expected to see a growth in 2020.
