Description

Progress in governance on the African continent has stalled. This is according to the new The Ibrahim Index of African Governance which was launched this week by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation. The index showed that more than a third of African countries are sliding backwards as far as governance is concerned, with some 21 counties of the 54 states ranked deteriorating in overall governance performance since 2011.
