The life-size statue will be stationed at the OR Tambo International Airport, which was renamed from Johannesburg International Airport in honour of 89th birthday. On a different occasion, yesterday the Nelson Mandela Foundation launched Mandela’s second memoir, Dare Not Linger which documents the ex-president’s years in office. With South Africa’s ruling party, the African National Congress, attached to historical figures such as a O.R Tambo and Nelson Mandelas, what legacy of leadership has been left for the political party.
