Description

According to the Ibrahim Index of African Governance released a few weeks ago, governance in Africa has improved in certain areas between the year 2009 and 2013. The index which was released by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation also highlighted areas of concern such as in the category of the maintenance of safety and rule of law. The Index of African Governance was compiled by combining variables from more than 30 Independent African and global institutions.

To help us to look at the findings in the index we are joined from the Mo Ibrahim Foundation offices in London by:

• Salmana Ahmed and Christina Nelson (Senior Programme Managers)

• Sophie Masipa (Director of Communications at the Mo Ibrahim Foundation)
