Thousands of Zimbabweans thronged the Freedom Square in the capital Harare on Monday, to bid farewell to opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai, who died of colon cancer in South Africa last week. The memorial service held in his honor turned out to be a rally - as most of those who attended were clad in the Movement for Democratic Change regalia. Tsvangirai's friends, members of the civil society and various opposition party leaders, gave testimonies, before his body was airlifted to Buhera for burial today.
