Description

Recently at the United Nations headquarters, their was the promotion of the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and identify ways of how the United Nations could support the union consisting of 54 African states. In one of the gatherings last week, the New Partnership for African Development ,NEPAD. was in the spotlight with the recognition that it laid a foundation for the development of critical regional and continental infrastructure.

To assist us to look at the NEPAD Programme we have on the line:

• Estherine Fotabong – Director of Programme Implementation and Coordination Directorate at NEPAD

• Komla Bissi CAADP Adviser, Rural Infrastructure, Trade and Market Access ( The Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) was endorsed at the African Union Heads of State Summit as a New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) program in July 2003.)
