South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that South Africa will officially enter into Covid-19 Alert Level 2 with regards to the risk adjusted approach in dealing with the Corona Virus. The move will see further easing of rules such as the sale of alcohol and tobacco products. Ramaphosa issued a stern warning to South Africans ahead of the country’s move to a level 2 lockdown that the country must urgently focus its efforts on recovery, but warned that a move to a lower level is not a ‘free for all’.
