Hundreds of exhibitors from across Africa are showcasing what they have to offer in their tourism sectors at the Tourism Indaba in Durban. Some countries that are thriving in tourism such as Mozambique, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Kenya are in attendance. South Africa's Minister of Tourism, Derek Hanekom says when tourism succeeds, Africa will succeed. He says African countries need to take advantage of their authentic and meaningful experiences to help grow tourism on the continent for the benefit of its people. He was speaking during the official opening of INDABA; the annual tourism trade show organized by South Africa Tourism, taking place in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa. The Indaba ends on Monday.
