Description

The World Health Organisation estimates that about eighty percent of African people living on the continent consult traditional healers before visiting their GP. It is also claimed that traditional healers to this day are still regarded as important on the continent as consulting modern health facilities. However, has the modern scientific community realised the significance of traditional methods of healing and therapy?
