Description

A family from Kroonstad in the Free State wants justice after their 29-year-old lesbian daughter was set alight and killed in what they believe is a hate crime because of her sexual orientation. Nonki Smous' body was burnt beyond recognition two weeks ago. The community yesterday marched to the local police station to demand a proper investigation. We spoke to Kim Lithgow the founder of Same Love and P-Flags South Africa, which support the LGBTI community and their families.
