The ANC youth league says it believes there was criminality and fraud in the transaction that involved BANKORP- this as they plan to march to the headquarters of ABSA demanding the bank pay back the money. The league was reacting to a leaked Public Protector's preliminary CIEX report which recommends that ABSA pay back 2.25-billion rands in loans Bankcorp got from the Reserve bank in the late 80s early 90s.
