The Limpopo department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs has summoned the Mayor, Speaker and the Chief whip of the ANC-run Maruleng Municipality in Hoedspruit to his office tomorrow. This follows a two-week shutdown. Opposition parties are accusing the Municipal Manager Johannes Lethole of having increased his salary without approval from COGTA.
