The case of a 29-year-old suspect accused of raping two Nelson Mandela University students in Port Elizabeth on Monday night, has been postponed to Monday. This is to allow the suspect's formal guilty plea and legal consultation at the Regional Court. The suspect made a brief appearance in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court where he refused to apply for bail and chose to plead guilty. He faces two counts of rape, house-breaking and robbery. Stephen Kirker spoke to our reporter Mcebisi Ngqina who was in court.
