The Western Cape High Court has ruled that political parties must disclose who their funders are. The judgement was delivered this morning. Parliament has been given a year and a half to make amendments to the Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000. Janine Ogle the National Co-ordinator of the NGO "My Vote Counts" which brought the application, says the ruling is good for voters.
