Two people were trapped on a window washing lift over a dozen stories above ground level. One side of the lift malfunctioned and tilted downwards at a roughly 45 degree angle. The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department lowered a rescuer from the roof of the building to secure both people and bring them one at a time to the bucket of a waiting tower ladder truck. Nobody was injured.
