'Calm' is not a word that tends to describe JD Mack, both as a person and as a DJ. He somehow manages to move seamlessly from one track to the next while rocking out in the DJ booth just as hard as anyone on the dancefloor. This mix is a recording from a tight little intimate jam in a psychedelic loft space full of topless burlesque dancers, irate police officers (some of whom were actually caught tapping their feet to the music) and abundant vodka tonics, in no particular order.
