Zenith has come out of the gate early to claim the ‘most talked-about watch release of 2021’ title, with their appropriately sporty (and quite controversial) Chronomaster Sport.

In order to get the official word on the origins, inspirations and authenticity of the model, we went right to the top; Zenith CEO Julien Tornare. Days after the release of the watch Felix jumped on a Zoom call with Julian and found out the historical inspirations for the watch, why it matters so much for the brand from a commercial perspective, and how they prepared for the inevitable Daytona comparisons.
