Dan Geist just got done teaching his first year of middle school World History at a private school in the Kansas City area. Before that he graduated with a degree in Secondary Education from Kansas State University, in which time he spent a semester studying in Prague and traveling around Europe. Between us, we have touched a large portion of 3 continents outside of North America, and whether it was from our travels or Dan’s year of teaching, we noticed the same glaring truth. From elementary school all the way through university, the US education system is flawed in many ways that leave our youth stressed, in debt, and less equipped for the real world than ever before!
