Description

The recent blockbuster "Uncharted," starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, is disappointingly mediocre. Perhaps that's not surprising for a video game movie, but it is surprising that it failed at adapting such a classic game series, yet somehow became one of the biggest movies of 2022 so far. Is "Uncharted" trying to be the discount version of Indiana Jones? Why does it fail at storytelling where Indiana Jones succeeded? Why does it generally make no sense, including its retreading of the evil billionaire trope? In the latest episode of Out of Frame: Behind the Scenes, Sean and Paul answer these questions and discuss their reaction to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
